How Does A Video Mystery Shop Work?
Our mystery shopper enters your establishment wearing a hidden video camera. Based on your specifications, the shopper will interact with your sales or customer service personnel, possibly making a purchase or presenting a complication.
When the mystery shop is completed, you will receive a video (in either VHS or CD/DVD format) of the entire transaction between your employee and our shopper.

How Will This Video Tape Help Me and My Employees?
The goal of TSSOG is not to find fault with your employees. It is to provide you with an effective means of evaluating your training programs and your employees understanding of the product/service you offer.
Many clients also incorporate our services as an incentive tool for employees i.e., a $25.00 bonus for mentioning a special offer, a gift certificate for exceptional customer service.

Is It Legal To Use Video Mystery Shoppers?
Yes, though some states require that any type of mystery shopping be performed by a private investigator. The ultimate liability falls on the company that is hiring the mystery shopping company.
TSSOG holds a private investigative license. We are also insured.

Should I Tell My Employees That They Might Be Mystery Shopped?
While it is not illegal (in some states) to mystery shop an employee without his/her consent, we believe there are advantages to notifying them that you have contracted our services.
If employees treat all customers as if they are wearing hidden cameras, the employees will represent your business in the best light possible.

Who Are Your Clients?
TSSOG specializes in providing video mystery shops to new-home builders. Our services are available to other industries as well, and we would be happy to discuss your specific needs.
